About Salsa y Ternura

Dance, inclusion, culture, education and fun.

We are a project, a community and a dance academy mostly focused on Salsa. Its name was born in 2016 while its founder, Amalís Cintrón, was collaborating with different schools and projects.

We emerged from the need to create more conscious, respectful and inclusive dance spaces within Salsa.

We are a school to learn to dance, to improve our way of communicating in partner dancing, to develop new skills, style and improve our personal and social self-esteem through popular and folkloric dances.

It will be a pleasure to welcome you always in SALSA Y ternura.

Projects and spaces where we work.
SyT has worked or is currently working with diverse communities including the Deaf community, the elderly, the LBGTQIA+ community and women. SyT's vision is to empower everyone through dance and it is our desire to empower those whose spaces and attention have been limited by culture.
